NeoTips for writing personal letter
Information letters are used to express a condolence, demand a favor, make a request or make an apology. We start the letter with 'Dear....' and end the letter with your name. Personal letter is usually written to a friend or a relative. It doesn’t have many strict rules.

Task 1: Personal letter

You should spend no more than 20 minutes on this task and write at least 150 words.
You have been out of contact with your friend for a long time because of your busyness.

Now you are going to get married and you invite him to your wedding. To relieve your friend of the surprise, you tell him how you met your wife. Also tell him when and where the wedding will take place.

You do not need to write your address.

Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir/Madam,

Answer:

Dear Shaan,

I am sorry I haven’t written for so long. My work keeps me so busy, that I never have a minute to myself. I am writing to invite you to my wedding.

Since you have never met my future wife, you must have a million questions running through your mind right now. I hope I can tell you enough to put your mind at ease until we meet. Five months ago I decided to take a cruise to Bahamas, to get away for a little while. And on that cruise Fait arraigned for me to meet my future wife, Elena. She is the most wonderful, loving person you could ever imagine and we are very happy together.

The wedding will take place at my parents’ mansion. The date is October 17, at 7 o’clock. I am so looking forward to introducing you to Elena, and he can’t wait to meet you too. I told him all about you and our friendship.

With love,

Amy.
