The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Answer:
The maps are of an island, before and after developing of tourists facilities. The whole island is around 1000 meter long from east to west and above 300 meter wide and has a beautiful beach a west coast, whole open sea as the rest of border.

After the development of these tourist facilities, pier site is located around centre on south coast. This is the only spot an island where ferries can arise or depart from. Once on the island, there is a road that heads straight to the reception, which is in centre of the island about 100 meters away from the pier. There is road track around the reception which leads to the restaurant located another 100 meter away from reception, around centre of the northern margins of the island. Accommodation for the tourists are provided or both east side as well as west with relation to reception. These are walking tracks which provide a route to the accommodation, which are constructed around the walking track.

Although the land on the east coast of island is almost vacated, on west coast, there is a beach which is used by tourist to enjoy and swim. A walking track connects the beach to the accommodation.
